The Kitchen Scale app lets you quickly and easily check how much certain ingredients should weigh. Just select an ingredient, tell the scale how much the recipe calls for (support for both US and metric units), and Kitchen Scale will tell you how much it should weigh. Then just measure out that amount on your kitchen scale! Kitchen Scale also provides convenient unit conversion so you can quickly convert between units.

I started weighing my ingredients two years ago, based on recommendations from friends. There are websites that help calculate the weights for measurements for different ingredients, but its annoying and silly bringing my laptop into the kitchen with me, and none of them work well on the iPhones small screen. So... In comes Kitchen Scale. I just baked a super moist red velvet cake using this app to weigh the ingredients - it came out perfect!!!!
This is awesome. Perfect for converting from volume to weight. Great interface makes it easy to see and choose your ingredients.
Very convenient app - saves me the trouble of looking things up online or trying to convert things in my head - so I can focus on cooking and not math lol
This app is very useful for converting volume measurements (tsp, cup, fl oz, etc) to weight measurements for common baking ingredients. My only wish is that there were even more ingredients to choose from (most basics are included). Be aware: the measurement for "Sugar" is for confectioners (powdered) sugar NOT granulated sugar. All other weights for baking ingredients seem consistent with other reliable sources.
This app is really handy especially when baking because you dont have to measure out flour and sugar and such by the cup full you can just weigh it out on a scale which is much easier and much more accurate I love this app.
